Xandra Falcó

President of Círculo Fortuny

The Marchioness of Mirabel exemplifies the winemaking tradition.

Xandra Falcó studied marketing, and after a stint in another sector she joined the management board of the family's winery, Marqués de Griñón, heading up the "Svmma Varietalis" project. During this period she was also an active participant in the production and launch of the Marqués de Griñón Extra Virgin Olive Oil project.

In 2010, six years later, she was appointed managing director, and CEO in 2015, a post she held until 2019. In June 2018 she stepped down from her executive posts at the winery, but is still one of its major shareholders.

She has been a member of the Madrid Gastronomy Academy and also of Spain's Royal Gastronomy Academy since 2021. Outside the world of gastronomy, she is president of "Círculo Fortuny", Spain's leading association of blue-chip companies, and also president of Real Fundación Toledo, a trustee of Fundación Quiero Trabajo and a member of the jury panel for the "Tierra de Mujeres" award organised by Yves Rocher, among other posts.
